Halloween

We had a great Halloween. My little Gwendolyn dressed up as a pumpkin and Christina was a pirate. Both costumes were hand-me-down's which we very much appreciated.

Trick or treating in our neighborhood didn't start until 6pm, so it was a little late for Christina, especially since she was still getting over a cold. She was very tired and walked around like a zombie for most of it. I couldn't even get her to smile for the camera. But, that didn't stop her from chowing down on a TON of candy. I had to pry it out of her hands once she had already had like six pieces. Of course she screamed, but she soon got over it. She had a good time trick or treating overall and was happy to do it with her cousin Evie.

Shortly after we stopped trick or treating (we only did about a block), the sugar rush must have kicked in because then Christina was wide awake. She was having a ball handing out candy to all of the trick or treaters. Everytime they came, she would grab the bowl and say "one, one, one" so that each little girl or boy could take one piece of candy. It was really adorable.

How was your Halloween?
