Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you
My beautiful little girl turned three years old yesterday. We had such a nice day together: lunch with Grandma and Granddad before they went back to NJ and staying up late so that we could have birthday cake with Daddy. Christina was so cute asking "Today is my birthday?" all day long.
In addition to our nice day together on her actual birthday, we also had a Princess Party for her on Saturday. We had lots of friends and family come over and join in on the fun. It seems like everyone had a great time and I know CC had an amazing time. The little princess' wore crowns and carried wands, we had a princess castle pinata filled with lots of princess goodies (bracelets, necklaces, lip gloss, etc.), plus we had a princess castle cake. Oh yes, and CC got a ton of gifts (it was like Christmas all over again)! Most of them went with the theme of the party also, which was totally adorable.

Where on earth do I live??
Since I moved to Georgia a year ago, I have seen some interesting animals, insects and well, people. I wish I could take pictures with my eyes. You would love to see some of the things I have seen. Since that is not possible though, and most of what I have seen was while driving - hence, unable to take an actual picture, you will just have to take my word for it.
-two goats running in the street with traffic as if they have every right to use the road as cars do
-an armadillo walking around the side of the road
-a turkey walking around the side of the road
-black widow spiders (yes, plural), in my garage
-Santa driving a convertible with the top down, all winter long
-three stray (I think) dogs sitting in my driveway
-a huge pig hanging out on the side of the road, eating the grass
-wasps that just won't die appearing in my house
On the plus side, almost every day I get to drive by a couple of beautiful horses, I've seen a couple of nice rainbows since we moved here, and several months out of the year I get to see deer on a regular basis. Of course when one deer ran into Nik's car last year, that wasn't so nice.
What odd things have you seen?

Christina says . . .
"Why you say Oh me God, Daddy?"
"I wanna get my taco on."
"I like to shake my booty."
"When I go to schoooool, it makes me happyyyy and it keeps me happyyyyy."
"Wanna watch me jump like Halloween?"
"I wanna go to New Jersey."
"Is it wake up time?"
"I'm so funny."
"Do you hear me?"
"I'm mad at you. You spilled my beer!"
"Let's talk about animals"
"I'm the poopy Princess."
"I wanna hear Lady Gaga."
"Hold me like a baby."
"See you later adults."
"Bye-bye, I'm going to New Jersey."
"I need to check my Facebook."
"I don't want a mouth. Take my mouth off."
"Cheers!"
"Can we go to Jersey now?"
"Is it my birthday cake?"
"I wanna be your trouble."
"Naked girl, naked girl."
"Where is Olivia? We have to make Olivia?"
"Can we go on Super Trucks?"
"I don't feel well Mommy. I'm sick. Take my temperature."
"I have sparkles."
"I wanna sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star."
"I gotta get outta here!"
"This place is dirty."
"I can't eat it. It's my money. I can't eat my money. It's dangerous."
"I want five."
"Are your boobies sick Mommy?"
"I wanna get my taco on."

Singing her praises
My 27" tall one year old is now running. Nothing can stop her now. She climbs (and falls), walks and runs, opens and closes (everything), she babbles constantly with real and not so real words, and she is the cutest little thing that I have ever seen. Her beautiful blue eyes widen as her face lights up when she smiles and she is sure to will win over anyone's heart. I can't seem to stop her from screaming from excitement or throwing her food on the floor when she is finished eating (but then again when does she ever stop eating?). When she is sad and overtired, she lays her head down on the ground and I just want to scoop her up and cover her with kisses. every.single.time. I have never met a sweeter baby. And this baby is quickly growing into a toddler. No more baby food for Gwen. That girl will eat everything and anything I give her. She is totally like her Daddy in that way and in several other ways. I can't wait to see what a beautiful and smart little girl she will grow into.
