De-fense, De-fense

My cousin John got us all really awesome tickets to a basketball game a few weeks ago. John and Anna took their three year old, Evie and Nik and I took the girls. It was Christina and Gwen's first live sporting event (if you don't count Wrestlemania which they attended from the womb).

Surprisingly, they both really enjoyed themselves. They actually watched the entire game and CC enjoyed shouting "defense! defense! at the appropriate time.

























Poor Christina had her day ruined when the mascot came out and put his giant sized mouth over a defenseless kid's head (just for laughs of course). She was already afraid of mascots, but after that, she was terrified. She spent the rest of the game clinging to me or Nik and watching him like a hawk.
